Rajiv Khilnani is an award winning artist with multiple solo and group shows to his credit. His experiences growing up in South Asia have influenced his works, shaping not only subject matter and general motives, but also his color palette. He enjoys creating
vivid abstractions using line, shape, design, contrast, and texture as his main creative elements. He has also explored monochromatic compositions with great success, winning the “Award of Excellence," in a statewide competition from Triton Museum.
In 2011, his work was accepted to a national juried show, at Sandra Lee Gallery, San Francisco. In 2015 he won an award for the “Best Abstract” work in the OPEN juried art show organized by FALC. He had his first solo show in Los Angeles at the Beverly Hills Playhouse.
Rajiv resides in the West Hollywood area where he works on contemporary abstract paintings on canvas and paper. His works have been collected by numerous private parties.
